You can walk (1,8 km from Vasiliki and 500 meters from house Anatoli) to the sandy beach of Vravrona. The beach is free. Bars offer their sunbeds and umbrellas. Only in weekends you have to pay 10 EUR for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. From monday – friday you can use this free of charge by ordering a drink of your choice.

In the evening it is also worth walking towards the beach again. Beautiful taverns by the sea offer fresh fish dishes and Greek specialties. We would be happy to advise you on the choice of restaurant.

Mini markets, a bakery with a café, a pharmacy, a greengrocer with fresh regional products and a kiosk are about 600 meters away. The mini markets offer drinks, cigarettes, sausage, cheese, etc., all groceries and household goods for everyday needs and are easily accessible on foot.

The next larger market (Mymarket) is on the way to the center of Artemida and can be reached by car in about 5 minutes.

A bus stop is also easily accessible on foot. If you don’t want to walk to the beach, you can take the bus the 1.2 km. Athens Airport can be reached by bus in about 20 minutes. In 40 minutes you can take the bus to the nearest metro station and you can go to the center of Athens within 20 minutes. Depending on traffic, you need about 60 minutes to get to the center by car. However, parking spaces in Athens are very scarce. We therefore recommend that you travel to the center by bus and metro.

The center of Artemida can be reached by car in a few minutes (4-5 km). There are several km of beautiful sandy beaches with taverns, bars and cafes (see second YouTube video). You will also find shops, pharmacies, doctors, the post office and banks with ATMs (VISA, Mastercard).

On summer nights it is especially nice to walk along the beach of Artemida, stopping here and there at a taverna and enjoy a glass of wine with a sea view and relax.
